Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Counter to ensure accurate inventory records by conducting regular physical stock counts and verifying inventory against system records. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Perform physical stock counting as per the daily, weekly, and monthly inventory schedule.

✔ Verify physical inventory against system records and accurately identify stock variances.

✔ Update inventory records after stock counting and maintain accurate inventory data.

✔ Follow standard inventory counting procedures to ensure maximum accuracy and minimize errors.

✔ Identify, tag, and segregate damaged, expired, excess, or non-moving inventory.

✔ Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams during stock audits and cycle counting activities.





✔ Prepare and maintain stock count reports and inventory documentation.

✔ Report inventory discrepancies promptly and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

✔ Ensure compliance with inventory control policies, warehouse SOPs, and safety guidelines.

✔ Maintain high standards of accuracy, discipline, and accountability while handling inventory.

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.

Good numerical and analytical skills.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and inventory software is an advantage).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Prior experience in inventory counting, warehouse operations, or stock management is preferred.

Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, if required.
