Key Responsibilities

Refrigeration, Chillers, and Cold Room Storage

- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial chillers, cold rooms, walk-in freezers, and proofing room climate controls.
- Monitor refrigerant levels, compressor performance, evaporator/condenser coils, and defrost cycles to prevent temperature deviations.
- Maintain accurate daily logs for temperature, humidity, and energy consumption to meet safety standards.
- Ensure rapid response and troubleshooting for critical cold-chain failures to protect raw dough, yeast, and finished baked goods.

Baking Equipment and Factory Machinery

- Oversee maintenance of industrial mixing machines, dough dividers, proofers, continuous tunnel/deck ovens, cooling conveyors, and packaging lines.
- Execute daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules to reduce line stoppages and boost overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical faults, pneumatic controls, and PLC automation systems.

General Facility and Infrastructure

- Upkeep building utilities including steam boilers, compressed air systems, water filtration, and HVAC units.
- Ensure plant compliance with local health, environmental, and safety laws,



alongside food safety guidelines (HACCP/ISO).
- Manage waste management, pest-proofing integrity around cold storage seals, and general facility sanitation support.

Team and Budget Management

- Supervise, schedule, and train internal maintenance technicians and external vendor contractors.
- Manage spare parts inventory, purchase orders, and departmental repair budgets.

Job Requirements

- Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on plant maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role within an F&B;, FMCG, or commercial baking/food manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in industrial refrigeration/chillers, PLC diagnostics, mechanical power transmissions, and sensory troubleshooting.
- Certifications: CMRP or professional safety/refrigeration handling certifications are a robust plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
