Job Purpose
To equip students with essential life skills that enhance personal growth, emotional well-being, communication, leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and social responsibility, enabling them to become confident, responsible, and future-ready individuals.
Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging Life Skills lessons for students as per the school curriculum.
- Conduct interactive sessions using activities, discussions, role plays, games, storytelling, case studies, and experiential learning.
- Teach topics such as communication skills, emotional intelligence, leadership, teamwork, goal setting, decision-making, time management, ethics, resilience, stress management, and career awareness.
- Foster values, discipline, empathy, respect, and positive behaviour among students.
2. Student Development
- Build students' confidence, self-esteem, and interpersonal skills.
- Identify students requiring additional emotional or behavioural support and guide them appropriately.
- Mentor and motivate students to achieve academic and personal success.
- Encourage participation in leadership programs, clubs, and school activities.
3. Classroom Management
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Promote active participation and collaborative learning.
- Maintain discipline through positive reinforcement and counselling techniques.
4. Assessment & Documentation
- Design age-appropriate activities, projects, worksheets, and assessments.
- Observe and evaluate students' participation, behaviour, and skill development.
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance, assessment records, and student progress reports.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
5. Parent & School Collaboration
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Guide parents on supporting their child's emotional and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and school leadership to address student needs.
- Conduct awareness sessions for parents and staff whenever required.
6. School Activities
- Organize workshops, seminars, assemblies, leadership programs, personality development sessions, and value education activities.
- Coordinate celebrations, awareness campaigns, community service activities, and special events.
- Support student clubs, competitions, and co-curricular initiatives.
7. Professional Development
- Attend training programs, workshops, and faculty development sessions.
- Stay updated on child psychology, counselling techniques, NEP recommendations, SEL (Social-Emotional Learning), and contemporary teaching methodologies.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, English, Human Development, or a related field.
- B.Ed.
(Preferred)
- Diploma/Certification in Counselling, Soft Skills, Life Skills, or Child Psychology (Preferred).
Experience
- 2–5 years of teaching, counselling, training, or life skills facilitation experience.
- Experience in CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or International schools is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and facilitation skills may also be considered.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Six-day work week (as per school policy).
- Participation in school events, assemblies, workshops, field visits, counselling sessions, and academic meetings.
Pay: ₹10,739.87 - ₹33,763.27 per month
