About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, develop robust ETL frameworks, and create high-quality, governed datasets that support business intelligence and analytics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-ready data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge of data observability tools and performance optimization techniques.
Exposure to Lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Iceberg, or Hudi).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.
Worked with or has practical knowledge of DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Coco and Cortex (Snowflake AI/Copilot) is preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Data Science, DevOps, and Engineering.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA and Kanban.
Experience with CI/CD processes using GitHub or Bitbucket.
Experience implementing data governance, data quality, pipeline monitoring, and data lineage.
Hands-on experience with MPP databases such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift,
or Teradata.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Apache Spark (PySpark), Yaml frameworks, building Dashboards and AWS Glue.
Proven experience building production-grade data pipelines and transforming raw data into reliable, analytics-ready datasets.
4+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
Participate in code reviews, CI/CD deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with Analytics, Data Science, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, monitoring, and pipeline performance.
Integrate schema registries into ETL workflows and establish end-to-end data lineage.
Collaborate with analytics teams to migrate, validate, and optimize data assets.
Develop and enhance self-service ETL frameworks for both batch and streaming data processing.
Build and maintain foundational data tables to support business reporting and product initiatives.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade data pipelines.
