Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Purchase Executive to support procurement activities by ensuring the timely and cost-effective purchase of raw materials, consumables, engineering items, spare parts, and services required for uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute day-to-day procurement activities as per Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Source quotations, compare prices, and prepare comparative statements.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, payment terms, and material availability.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Identify alternate suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Maintenance, Quality, and Accounts departments for procurement requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Track pending purchase orders and expedite urgent material requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchase MIS reports.

Required Skills

- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Experience in sourcing engineering, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing materials.
- Strong analytical and cost comparison skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
- Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet procurement deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2–4 years of experience in Purchase within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in steel, wire, engineering, automotive, or industrial manufacturing companies will be preferred.
- Engineering qualification (Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech) will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and industrial materials.
- Self-motivated, organized, and result-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills.
