About the Role

IS GOING ONLINE is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead backend development initiatives and contribute to the design and development of scalable, high-performance software systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Architect and implement secure, high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Lead technical design discussions and software architecture decisions.
- Review code and mentor junior developers.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Design efficient database structures and optimize queries.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and frontend teams to deliver features.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement robust solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and engineering practices.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Solid expertise in Python.
- Extensive experience with Flask,



FastAPI, or Django.
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor team members and lead technical initiatives.

Good to Have

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with system performance monitoring and optimization.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and automated deployments.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
