Valli Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Consultant in Anaesthesiology to join our surgical excellence team. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective perioperative care, advanced pain management, and critical care support across various surgical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pre-Anaesthetic Evaluation (PAC): Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments in the PAC clinic to evaluate patient fitness, optimize surgical readiness, and explain anesthetic plans to patients and families.
- Intraoperative Care: Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia across diverse surgical super-specialties (including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, and Obstetrics) while continuously monitoring patient vitals.
- Critical Care & Emergency Support: Respond to hospital-wide emergency resuscitations (Code Blue), provide expert advanced airway management, and assist in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for mechanically ventilated patients when required.
- Pain Management: Formulate and oversee acute post-operative pain management protocols (including epidural and nerve block management) to ensure patient comfort and faster recovery.
- Collaborative Practice: Work seamlessly with surgeons, intensivists,



and the operating room nursing staff to uphold strict safety protocols and ensure optimal surgical outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: MD or DNB in Anaesthesiology from an MCI/NMC recognized institution.
- Experience: [3–7] years of post-PG experience is preferred, though exceptional recent graduates with strong clinical exposure will be considered. Experience in a super-specialty surgical setting is highly advantageous.
- Licensure: Valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TNMC).
- Skills: Exceptional airway management skills, proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques, ability to remain calm under extreme pressure, and excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
