Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced In-Process Quality Engineer with above 6 years of experience in automotive manufacturing and assembly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring in-process quality, reducing defects, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control in-process quality during manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections as per quality standards.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and other quality tools.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Control Plans, SOPs, and customer requirements.
- Analyze rejection, rework, and scrap data to reduce manufacturing defects.
- Conduct process audits, product audits, and Layered Process Audits (LPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering,



and Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Prepare quality reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA activities for current and existing products.
- Train production operators on quality standards, inspection methods, and defect prevention.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

- In-Process Quality Inspection
- Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
- IATF 16949 & ISO 9001
- Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)
- Process & Product Audits
- GD&T; and Engineering Drawing Interpretation
- Measuring Instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, CMM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and team coordination

Preferred Industry

Automotive OEMs, Tier-1 & Tier-2 Suppliers, Auto Component Manufacturing, and Assembly Plants.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
