Position Summary
Lead multiple production lines manufacturing precision aerospace components using advanced CNC machines, automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies. Ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production while meeting AS9100 quality standards and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Optimize productivity, machine utilization, OEE, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Lead Production Engineers, Supervisors, and Operators, fostering high performance and continuous development.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introductions, process optimization, tooling, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor KPIs, resolve production issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing,
or Aerospace Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in precision manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a production leadership role within the aerospace or high-precision engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T;, CMM, SPC, ERP/MES systems, and Lean manufacturing tools.
