Job Description:

- Architect and develop complete mechanical solution for telecom and networking systems
- Create thermal model, run simulation, and optimize thermal solution for telecom and networking systems
- Must have experience designing large chassis systems including tolerance analysis, compliance requirements, manufacturability requirements, reliability requirements, and usability requirement
- Lead and coordinate with other mechanical engineers and cross-functional team member in a geographically diverse workplace

Job Requirements:

- Expert in ProE and Flowtherm or other comparable CAD and simulation tools
- Hands on experience taking a chassis from design to volume production successfully
- Expert in all aspects of mechanical design including thermal, material property, cost, and manufacturability
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written are must
- Leadership and project management skills highly desirable

Education and Experience Required:

- BS/MS/PhD in mechanical/thermal engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of work experience in thermal/mechanical design for networking and telecom grade chassis systems
