Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ITI Mechanic with 1–3 years of experience in fabrication and pipeline works to supervise and support mechanical activities in a water pipeline project. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing fabrication, installation, maintenance, and execution of pipeline-related works while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise fabrication and installation activities for water pipeline projects.
- Monitor pipeline laying, alignment, fitting, welding, and testing activities.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and workers to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Inspect materials, tools, and equipment before use.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain daily work progress reports and site records.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and pipeline-related issues.




- Monitor manpower productivity and allocate tasks effectively.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of site machinery and equipment.

Requirements

- ITI Certificate in Mechanic/Fitter/Welder or related trade.
- 1–3 years of experience in fabrication and pipeline works.
- Experience in water supply, irrigation, or utility pipeline projects preferred.
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and site layouts.
- Good communication and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices and quality control procedures.

Preferred Skills

- Leadership and team management.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office for reporting.
- Familiarity with HDPE, DI, MS, or GI pipelines.

- As per industry standards and experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
