Job Summary:

XivTech is looking for a Backend Developer (Java/Node.js) to help build and scale our microservice applications. You will design and develop server-side logic, integrate with databases, and coordinate with the rest of the engineering team across the stack.

Responsibilities:

- - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable server-side services and APIs
- Integrate front-end elements built by other engineers into the application
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- 3+ years of skilled experience with Java and Node.js
- Experience with MySQL, Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB
- Familiarity with MVC, JDBC, microservices, and RESTful API design
- Experience with web application frameworks such as Spring Boot and Express
- Proficiency with Git and continuous integration workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
