Location: Chitra Coal Mines, Jharkhand
Experience: 8–15 years in coal mining, earthmoving, or infrastructure projects
Qualification:

- Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- DGMS certifications (if applicable) will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of mining operations, safety standards, and project execution.

Job Summary

The Site In-Charge will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day site activities at the coal mining project, ensuring safe operations, efficient resource utilization, timely project execution, and compliance with statutory regulations. The role requires strong leadership to manage manpower, machinery, contractors, and coordination with the client.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily site operations and ensure smooth execution of mining activities.
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, operators, and contract labour.
- Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion of work.
- Coordinate deployment of heavy earthmoving equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with DGMS, Mines Act, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox safety meetings.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.




- Coordinate with the Mine Manager, Project Head, contractors, and client representatives.
- Monitor fuel consumption, equipment utilization, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure availability of manpower, materials, and machinery.
- Resolve operational issues and maintain productivity.
- Maintain records of attendance, machinery operation, production, and site documentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of quality standards and company SOPs.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure adherence to emergency response procedures.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and reporting software.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in coal mining projects, overburden removal, excavation, drilling, blasting, and transportation.
- Experience in managing large teams and heavy mining equipment.
- Familiarity with statutory compliance and client coordination.

Salary

Pay: ₹13,016.91 - ₹18,000.00 per month
