About the Company:

Our client is an early-stage company helping large manufacturing organizations build digital capability on the factory floor. It partners with engineering teams to solve real operational challenges using data, analytics, AI, and digital tools, enabling factories to drive digital transformation from within.

As a founding team member, you'll work closely with leadership, shape the commercial function, and play a key role in scaling the business.

The Role:

You'll own the end-to-end sales journey for qualified opportunities, working directly with manufacturing leaders to understand operational challenges and position digital capability programs that deliver measurable business outcomes.

This is a high-ownership, customer-facing role requiring extensive travel across manufacturing locations in India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build relationships with manufacturing decision-makers across engineering, operations, and plant leadership.
- Convert internally generated opportunities into active customer engagements.
- Leverage your professional network to create additional warm introductions and business opportunities.
- Understand customer challenges and position digital capability programs around measurable business outcomes.
- Coordinate customer meetings, follow-ups, internal stakeholders, and sales activities throughout the buying journey.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and chance tracking process.
- Work closely with the founders to refine customer messaging, positioning, and commercial strategy.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, factory visits, industry events, and networking opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

- 2 to 4 years of experience in Business Development or B2B Sales.




- Engineering graduate or MBA.
- Experience selling to manufacturing companies, preferably industrial automation, machinery, capital equipment, engineering services, manufacturing technology, or related industrial solutions.
- Comfortable engaging with engineering managers, plant heads, operations leaders, and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Consultative selling approach with the ability to understand customer problems before proposing solutions.
- Comfortable working independently, travelling extensively across India, and managing customer relationships on-site.

Preferred:

- Experience working with industrial automation organizations.
- Exposure to solution selling, consultative sales, or enterprise sales.
- Existing relationships within manufacturing organizations that can lead to warm customer introductions.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
