Job Description Collection Head (Unsecured Business Loans)

About the Role

Maxemo Capital is looking for an experienced Collection Head to lead and manage the end-to-end collections function for its Unsecured Business Loan portfolio. The role requires a strategic leader who can drive collection efficiency, minimize delinquencies, and manage both Field Collection and Tele Collection teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall collections strategy for the unsecured business loan portfolio.

Supervise and mentor Field Collection and Tele Collection teams to achieve monthly recovery targets.

Monitor delinquency buckets, roll rates, recovery performance, and collection efficiency.

Develop collection strategies to reduce NPAs and improve portfolio health.

Ensure timely follow-up on overdue accounts through telecalling and field visits.

Track daily, weekly, and monthly collection MIS and present performance reports to management.

Coordinate with Credit, Sales, Operations, and Legal teams for effective resolution of delinquent accounts.





Ensure all collection activities comply with RBI guidelines, company policies, and ethical collection practices.

Drive productivity through regular training, performance reviews, and process improvements.

Manage agency performance, if applicable, and optimize collection costs.

Identify process gaps and implement initiatives to improve recovery outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).

12+ years of experience in collections within an NBFC, Bank, or Fintech.

Strong experience in Unsecured Business Loan Collections is mandatory.

Proven experience in leading both Field Collection and Tele Collection teams.

Strong understanding of collection metrics, delinquency management, and recovery strategies.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and collection MIS reporting.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
