Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Cut EDM Programmer to develop, set up, and optimize CNC programs for precision machining. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software, excellent technical interpretation skills, and hands-on experience with Wire EDM machines.

Key Responsibilities1. Programming & Optimization

- Develop CNC programs using Macro Wire and CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Macro Wire, or Opticam
- Generate exact and efficient toolpaths for Wire EDM machines
- Optimize machining programs to improve productivity and reduce cycle time

2. Technical Interpretation

- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
- Understand part dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements

3. Machine Setup & Operation

- Set up Wire EDM machines including wire threading, job alignment, and fixture setup
- Monitor machining processes to ensure high precision and consistency

4. Parameter Adjustment

- Set and fine-tune cutting parameters such as speed, power, and wire tension




- Optimize settings based on material type and thickness for best results

5. Quality Control & Inspection

- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers)
- Ensure components meet strict quality and tolerance standards

6. Troubleshooting

- Identify and resolve issues such as wire breakage, machine errors, and cutting defects
- Take corrective actions to minimize downtime

7. Maintenance

- Conduct routine preventive maintenance of Wire EDM machines
- Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently

8. Process Improvement

- Improve machining strategies to enhance productivity
- Optimize slug removal and increase unmanned (lights-out) machining efficiency

Salary & Benefits

- Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month
- Benefits: PF, ESI, Bonus, and other statutory benefits
