Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, support, and enhance data solutions using Microsoft Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data architecture, maintaining cloud-based data pipelines, optimizing data processing workflows, and ensuring high performance, reliability, and security of data solutions.
The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, active participation in key technical decisions, and the ability to provide solutions across immediate and extended teams. The candidate should also lead process improvement initiatives, mentor junior team members, and drive delivery excellence through agile ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as an SME in Microsoft Azure Data Services and support the team in delivering high-quality data engineering solutions.
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure-based data pipelines and workflows.
Work with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics to build and manage cloud data solutions.




Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to contribute to key technical and delivery decisions.
Provide solutions to technical problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures using Azure cloud services.
Support integration of data services with application components and downstream reporting or analytics platforms.
Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, performance, and software quality.
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, compliance, and agile delivery practices.
Required Skilled & Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services (Must Have)
Strong experience in cloud-based data storage, processing, and analytics solutions (Must Have)
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics (Must Have)
Strong understanding of SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts (Must Have)
Ability to design and implement scalable data architectures using Azure cloud services.
Experience in integrating data services with various application and reporting components.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data pipeline, performance, and integration issues.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and team management skills.
Azure Data Engineer Certification (DP-203) is a plus.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Data Services.
This position is based at our Pune office.
A 15-year full-time education is required.
