Data Entry Operator (DEO) is responsible for transferring large volumes of information from source documents into digital databases, spreadsheets, or company systems. They ensure data accuracy, maintain strict confidentiality, and assist in generating reports and organizing physical and digital files.

Core Responsibilities

- Data Input: Compiling, verifying, and entering text and numerical data accurately into digital formats.
- Database Maintenance: Updating existing records, sorting information, and identifying duplicate or incorrect data.
- Research and Verification: Comparing data with source documents, correcting discrepancies, and researching missing or incomplete information.
- Reporting & Backup: Generating data reports as needed, exporting spreadsheets, and performing regular data backups.
- Administrative Duties: Scanning and printing documents, organizing physical files,



and maintaining office equipment.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Typing Speed and Accuracy: High typing speed with minimal errors (often requiring 45–60+ words per minute).
- Software Proficiency: Robust working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) and database management tools.
- Age criteria 18 to 29 years

Attention to Detail: Ability to quickly spot spelling mistakes, numerical errors, or formatting inconsistencies.
