Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Tour Operator / Travel Agent to join our growing travel team. This role involves assisting clients with travel planning, booking services, and delivering exceptional travel experiences. Freshers with strong communication skills and a passion for the tourism industry are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet with clients to understand their travel needs, budget, and personal preferences.
- Sell and coordinate travel services including transportation, accommodations, insurance, sightseeing tours, and activities.
- Provide detailed advice about destinations, travel routes, customs, cultures, weather conditions, and local attractions.
- Process travel bookings, collect payments, and handle related fees and documentation.
- Manage travel-related issues including schedule changes, cancellations, refunds, and customer complaints.
- Maintain robust relationships with hotels, tour providers, transportation services, and other travel vendors.
- Research and update clients on current travel trends, special deals, and promotional offers.
- Attend travel workshops, webinars, seminars, and conferences to stay industry-informed.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
- Prepare travel itineraries, promotional packages, and customized travel plans.
- Upsell travel upgrades, insurance, and value-added services where appropriate.
- Assist in social media posts,



travel content creation, and promotional campaigns (optional).
- Support the agency with administrative tasks and contribute to team goals.

Requirements

- 0–1 year of experience in travel/tourism or customer service (freshers welcome).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer literacy; knowledge of booking platforms or GDS is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management capability.
- Passionate about travel, tourism, and helping people create memorable experiences.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

- Knowledge of popular domestic and international travel destinations.
- Social media knowledge for posting travel updates/offers.
- Multilingual abilities (Hindi, Bengali, English preferred).
