Job Title: PM Surya Ghar Installation Site Engineer / Site Executive (Solar)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated PM Surya Ghar Installation Site Engineer/Site Executive to oversee rooftop solar installation projects under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The candidate will be responsible for site inspections, installation supervision, quality control, client coordination, safety compliance, and project completion within the assigned timeline.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-installation site surveys and assess project feasibility.
- Supervise rooftop solar panel installation and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with installation teams, electricians, vendors, and project managers.
- Ensure installations comply with PM Surya Ghar guidelines and company quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Verify mounting structures, inverter installation, wiring, earthing, and safety measures.
- Coordinate net metering documentation and support DISCOM inspections.
- Maintain daily site reports, installation records, and progress updates.
- Resolve on-site technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with electrical and workplace safety standards.
- Guide customers on system operation and basic maintenance after installation.




- Conduct final quality inspections before project handover.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in rooftop solar installation or EPC projects.
- Freshers with relevant internship or solar training may also apply.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of rooftop solar PV systems.
- Understanding of electrical wiring, inverters, earthing, and net metering.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and installation layouts.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- MS Excel and report preparation.
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working on PM Surya Ghar or government rooftop solar projects.
- Familiarity with DISCOM procedures and subsidy documentation.
- Knowledge of solar safety standards and installation best practices.
