Job Title: Junior Nurse (Pediatrics & Dental Assistance)

Location: HealthLand Clinics, Whitefield, Bengaluru

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate, energetic, and clinically competent Junior Nurse to join our pediatric multispecialty clinic. The ideal candidate should have sound clinical knowledge in pediatric nursing and hands-on experience assisting dentists during dental procedures. The candidate should be patient-centric, proactive, and capable of working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPediatric Nursing

- Assist pediatricians during OPD consultations and minor procedures.
- Record and monitor patients' vital signs, weight, height, head circumference, and developmental parameters.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, nebulization, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Prepare patients and equipment for medical procedures.
- Observe and promptly report changes in a child's clinical condition.
- Maintain infection prevention and control protocols.
- Provide health education and counselling to parents regarding medications, vaccinations, nutrition, and home care.
- Ensure proper documentation of nursing notes and patient records.
- Assist in emergency pediatric care and Basic Life Support (BLS) when required.

Dental Assistance

- Assist dentists during pediatric and general dental procedures.
- Prepare dental instruments, materials, and treatment rooms before procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices.
- Maintain inventory of dental consumables and instruments.
- Assist in maintaining infection control standards in the dental department.

General Clinical Responsibilities





- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of consultation and procedure rooms.
- Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and front office staff for smooth patient flow.
- Ensure availability of medical supplies and consumables.
- Support immunization camps, health camps, and awareness programs.
- Follow NABH and clinic quality protocols.
- Adhere to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications

- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Prior experience in pediatric nursing is highly preferred.
- Experience as a dental assistant or in a dental clinic is desirable.

Required Skills

- Solid clinical and patient assessment skills.
- Good knowledge of pediatric medications and vaccinations.
- Familiarity with infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Ability to handle pediatric emergencies calmly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, child-friendly, and empathetic approach.
- Team player with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Employment Details

- Experience: 1–3 years
- Working Days: 6 days a week
- Working Hours: 8-hour shift
- Salary : As per experience and qualifications

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
