Job Description – Academic Coordinator

Job Summary

The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring academic activities, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, supporting teachers, and maintaining high academic standards across the school.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the school curriculum as per CBSE/board guidelines.

Prepare and monitor academic plans, lesson plans, annual planners, and assessment schedules.

Supervise and support teachers in effective teaching-learning practices.

Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.

Coordinate periodic tests, examinations, assessments, and result analysis.

Monitor students' academic progress and identify areas requiring improvement.

Ensure proper maintenance of academic records and documentation.

Coordinate with teachers, students,



and parents regarding academic matters.

Monitor syllabus completion and ensure timely submission of academic reports.

Encourage cutting-edge teaching methods, activity-based learning, and the effective use of technology.

Ensure compliance with school policies and applicable board requirements.

Assist in planning academic events, competitions, projects, and co-curricular activities.

Required Qualifications

B.Ed. is preferred.

Relevant experience in teaching and academic coordination, preferably in a CBSE school.

Experience

Preferred: 3–5 years of relevant teaching/academic coordination experience in a school environment.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
