We are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage our daily financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and managing accounts using Tally Prime. A strong grasp of GST and TDS regulations is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Accounting: Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally Prime, including purchase, sales, receipts, and payment entries.
- Tax Compliance: Accurate calculation and timely filing of GST (GSTR-1 & 3B) and TDS returns.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and reconcile ledger accounts with vendors and clients.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Documentation: Maintain physical and digital records of all invoices, vouchers,
and tax documents for audit purposes.
- Payroll: Assist in processing monthly payroll and ensuring statutory deductions are correct.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience: 1–5 years of proven experience as an Accountant or Junior Accountant.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST laws, and TDS provisions.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
