Civil Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Site Engineer to oversee daily construction activities, coordinate with contractors and consultants, ensure quality and safety compliance, and monitor project progress from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor material usage and verify quantities for billing and inventory.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Verify measurements and certify completed work.
- Maintain proper site documentation, including inspection reports and records.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in construction site supervision (or as required).




- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with IS codes and local building regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Preparing BBS, BOQ, Estimation and Billing work) and AutoCAD; knowledge of project management software is an advantage (STAAD PRO, REVIT).

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Siliguri, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

- Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

- 10years: 5 years (Preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (Preferred)
