Job Title: Accountant (Travel Industry Experience Preferred)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing travel-related accounting, supplier payments, airline and hotel reconciliations, GST compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Record and reconcile sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Handle supplier, hotel, airline, and vendor reconciliations.
- Process customer receipts, refunds, credit notes, and vendor payments.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Generate financial reports, MIS reports, and profitability reports.
- Coordinate with the operations and sales teams for booking and payment reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 years of accounting experience in the Travel & Tourism industry is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of travel accounting workflows, including hotels, airlines, tour packages, and vendor settlements.




- Positive understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be given preference:

- Travel agencies, tour operators, or corporate travel companies.
- Airline ticketing accounting.
- GDS-related financial reconciliation (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, Travelport).
- Corporate travel billing and vendor settlements.
- International and domestic travel package accounting.
- Credit management, commission accounting, and incentive calculations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
