Overview of the role

Core Value Technologies is seeking a Senior .NET Developer with advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in .NET development, particularly in leveraging Azure services to build scalable, reliable, and cloud-native applications. This role involves both hands-on development and providing technical guidance to the team on Azure-related topics.

Required qualifications and skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Extensive experience as a .NET Developer with a robust focus on Azure services.
- Proficiency in C# and knowledge of .NET frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET).
- In-depth understanding of Azure Durable Functions, including building complex workflows and managing state.
- Familiarity with various triggers used in Azure Functions.
- Experience working with Azure Blob Storage, Table Storage, Cosmos DB, Logic Apps, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Service Bus.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native design principles, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Additional Skills:

- Azure cerGficaGons, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Proficiency in other Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), etc.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools in Azure, including CI/CD pipelines.




- Understanding of security best practices in Azure application development.
- Knowledge of abstract classes, polymorphism, and other object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with database indexing strategies and their impact on performance.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using .NET framework, with a focus on Azure cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and design software systems that leverage Azure services effectively.
- Implement Azure Durable Functions to build serverless workflows and stateful execution.
- Develop Azure Functions with appropriate triggers, leveraging various triggers like HTTP, timers, queues, and more.
- Utilize Azure Blob Storage for storing and managing unstructured data, ensuring scalability and opGmal performance.
- Design and implement Azure Table Storage solutions for structured, NoSQL data storage needs.
- Work with Azure Cosmos DB to develop globally distributed, highly available, and scalable NoSQL databases.
- Create and manage workflows using Azure Logic Apps to automate business processes and integrate applications.
- Safely manage sensitive information using Azure Key Vault and integrate it into applicatioons for secure storage and retrieval.
- Utilize Azure Service Bus for building scalable, decoupled communication systems between distributed components.
- Provide technical guidance on Azure best practices, architecture, and solutions to junior developers and team members.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated scaling for Azure-hosted applications.
- Monitor application performance, diagnose issues, and implement optimizations in Azure environments.
- Stay current with Azure updates, trends, and advancements, and recommend relevant technologies to enhance application development.
- Contribute to the documentation of architectural decisions, code standards, and development processes.
