Job Description

1. OBJECTIVE OF THE FUNCTION:
Estimate, monitor, and analyze costs related to engine and module shop visits to support operational decision-making and profitability of MRO operations.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Context: Safran Aircraft Engines Services India Pvt. Ltd. (SAESI) is setting up the largest capacity in the group worldwide on Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) business, and will face a significant ramp-up in the near future. The accuracy of costing assumptions and our ability to complete Engine Shop Visits on time and at cost is key for the profitability of our customers' contracts.

➢ Prepare and maintain cost estimates for engine and module shop visits based on technical findings, operational inputs, and customer workscope.
➢ Analyze repair, material, subcontracting, and logistics expenses associated with shop visits.
➢ Support commercial and operational teams with profitability analysis and financial evaluations for decision-making.
➢ Perform variance analysis to identify major cost drivers and support corrective actions.
➢ Monitor financial performance and operational indicators related to LEAP engine shop visits.
➢ Prepare and consolidate reports for management and corporate stakeholders.
➢ Analyze repair trends, material consumption, and operational impacts to support performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
➢ Maintain and update costing tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
➢ Support project setup, invoicing coordination,



and cost tracking activities within SAP and associated systems.
➢ Ensure accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and reliability of operational and financial information.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering.

- Minimum 3 years experience Powerplant/ Fleet/ Maintenance Engineering in an airline or MRO setting with exposure to cost analysis; or demonstrated experience in cost control, financial analysis, or project management within aviation or industrial operations

- Proficiency in ERP systems, Power BI, and MS office (excel, powerpoint etc.) for reporting and operational analysis.

- Knowledge of MRO operations and engine shop visit processes is preferred.
