Location: Chikitsa Aarogya – A complete Mother & Child Clinic
Job Type - Full-time
Timings - 8 AM - 8 PM
Job Summary
Chikitsa Aarogya is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The therapist will work with infants and children experiencing developmental, sensory, behavioral, and motor challenges, helping them achieve greater independence and improved quality of life through evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children with developmental, neurological, sensory, and motor disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Conduct therapy sessions focusing on sensory integration, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, activities of daily living (ADLs), visual-motor integration, and self-regulation.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy records.
- Educate and counsel parents regarding home-based therapy programs and developmental goals.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, psychologists, speech therapists, special educators, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
- Ensure adherence to qualified ethics, patient safety, and clinic protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BOT) or Master's Degree (MOT/MOTP)
in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the All India Occupational Therapists' Association (AIOTA) or the applicable State Occupational Therapy Council, wherever required.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy will be an added advantage.
