Key Responsibilities:
- 3D & 2D CAD modelling using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Siemens NX — including core, cavity, sliders, lifters, cooling channels, ejection systems, runner systems, and gates
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager and Industrial Designers during product development
- Mould and part design, sheet metal design
- Mould flow analysis — simulating plastic fill to prevent air traps, weld lines, and short shots
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize part and mould geometry
- Documentation, BOM preparation, and technical drawing
- Understanding of plastic material properties — shrinkage rates and flow characteristics of various resins
- Design of hot runner and cold runner systems based on material and part geometry
- 3D modelling and assembly of physical products
Qualification:
Three-Year Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT) from CIPET
Work Experience: 2-4 Years
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
