Senior Technical Lead – Mumbai

Job Description I2DS is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to join our growing team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence across software development projects, mentor development teams, and serve as the bridge between business requirements and technical delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing technical direction and mentorship
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance software solutions aligned with business goals
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define technical requirements
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning through deployment
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in coding standards and quality assurance
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design specs, and deployment guides




- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and tooling
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across global locations
- Report project status, technical blockers, and milestones to senior leadership

Requirements:

- 6+ years of software development experience with at least 2+ years in a technical lead role
- Strong proficiency in one or more: C#/.NET, Java, ASP.NET, or similar enterprise technologies
- Experience with MES, ERP, or industrial software systems is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of software architecture patterns (MVC, microservices, REST APIs)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
- Experience with Life Sciences or manufacturing domain is a definite plus
- Familiarity with GAMP guidelines and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
