Requirement: B.Com / CA Intermediate with 4 to 6 years' experience of handling direct taxation matters

Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting – Key Responsibilities

1. Computation of advance tax liability and coordinating for timely payment of the same on quarterly basis

2. Collate, analyze, and provide information / data required for statutory audits, tax audits, and other regulatory compliance requirements

3. Assisting in computation of current tax, deferred tax, and contingent tax liabilities on a quarterly basis in accordance with IFRS requirements

4. Maintaining documentation on inter-company transactions and supporting timely completion of Transfer pricing audit

5. Assisting in the preparation of tax computations and filing of corporate Income-tax returns

6. Manage Foreign Tax Credit (FTC) compliance, including collection of WHT certificates from customers, tax credit computations and ensure proper accounting of the same in books

7. Organize and maintain all direct tax related documents, records and correspondences

8. Track, monitor, and update the status of tax notices, assessments, and litigations through the notice management system

9.



Support direct tax compliance activities, including PAN/TAN applications and amendments, collection of supporting documentation, and preparation of responses to notices received from tax authorities

10. Prepare and maintain monthly tax compliance certificates

11. Visiting tax office on need basis for correspondences

12. Assisting in process improvement initiatives through standardization, simplification, and documentation of tax processes, including development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow guidelines

13. Demonstrate flexibility and be proactive to undertake new assignments and responsibilities within the tax function

14. Collaborate effectively with business, finance, accounting, and transactional tax teams to provide comprehensive tax support and ensure seamless tax compliance and reporting

15. Assisting in tax compliance activities of the foreign group entities including Branches
