- Experience in project billing, planning, and documentation is preferred.
Job Summary
The Billing & Planning Manager is responsible for managing project billing activities, preparing project plans, monitoring progress, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely submission of invoices and project-related documents.
Key ResponsibilitiesBilling Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project billing as per contract terms and project progress.
- Prepare client invoices, running bills, and final bills.
- Verify work completion details and supporting documents before billing.
- Coordinate with project teams for measurement sheets, work completion reports, and approvals.
- Follow up with clients for billing approvals and payment status.
- Maintain billing records and prepare billing reports.
- Ensure accurate GST and statutory billing documentation.
Planning Responsibilities
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and execution timelines.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams for updates.
- Track material requirements, manpower planning, and project milestones.
- Identify delays and communicate with management for corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Accounts, Purchase, Stores, and Project teams.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Prepare MIS reports related to project progress and billing status.
- Support management with project cost and revenue tracking.
- Ensure timely completion of billing and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of project billing and planning processes.
- Good understanding of project documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and project management tools.
- ERP knowledge preferred.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
