Job Summary

TYKA Sports Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Fabric Inward & Quality Checker to manage the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming fabrics. The ideal candidate will ensure that all fabrics received meet the required quality standards before being accepted into inventory and released for production.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and verify incoming fabric deliveries against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Inspect fabric rolls for defects, shade variation, GSM, width, color, and overall quality.
- Identify and report defects such as holes, stains, weaving faults, knitting defects, and printing issues.
- Measure and record fabric quantity, roll length, and weight accurately.
- Prepare fabric inward records and quality inspection reports.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Fabric Store, and Production departments regarding fabric quality and inward status.
- Segregate accepted and rejected fabric rolls and ensure proper identification.
- Maintain accurate inventory and inward documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of fabric rolls.
- Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.

Requirements





- 1–3 years of experience in fabric inward, fabric inspection, fabric store, or textile quality.
- Knowledge of knitted and woven fabrics.
- Ability to identify common fabric defects and quality issues.
- Basic knowledge of fabric inspection methods, GSM, shade matching, and width measurement.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Good organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the garment, textile, or sportswear manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with the 4-Point Fabric Inspection System is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced factory workplace.
