Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering (Mandatory)
Preference: Sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on Offshore Support Vessels (OSV/PSV/AHTS/Tug) or equivalent.

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in an offshore/shipping company as a Technical Superintendent and sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on offshore vessels or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, SOLAS, MARPOL, Class & Statutory requirements, and DG Shipping regulations.
- Experience in vessel maintenance, dry dockings, planned maintenance, technical procurement, and Class surveys.
- Good knowledge of offshore vessel machinery, budgeting, vendor management, and technical documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage the Company's Document of Compliance (DOC) and oversee the technical operation of assigned vessels.
- Coordinate with Flag State Administrations, Classification Societies, and statutory authorities for surveys, certifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct and implement ISM internal audits and ensure effective implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Plan, supervise, and monitor vessel repairs, maintenance, dry dockings,
major shipyard repairs, and special surveys.
- Screen, evaluate, and assist in the selection of technical personnel.
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of QHSE, ISO, ISM, ISPS, MLC, DOC, and Planned Maintenance System (PMS) requirements.
- Prepare and monitor technical budgets for vessel maintenance, repairs, and dry docking activities.
- Carry out regular vessel inspections to ensure compliance with Company standards, statutory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Minimize vessel downtime by ensuring timely maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Identify and coordinate training requirements for officers and crew in accordance with IMO and Company standards.
- Prepare and submit monthly technical reports and client reports as required.
- Conduct onboard ISM, ISPS, MLC, and DOC implementation audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Attend vessels onboard to monitor maintenance activities, repairs, and overall technical condition whenever required.
- Coordinate vessel acquisitions, Class transfers, Flag changes, and associated technical documentation.
- Ensure vessels are maintained in a safe, seaworthy,
and fully operational condition from a technical perspective.
- Monitor the procurement, consumption, and inventory of lubricating oils.
- Monitor Fuel Oil (FO) and Lubricating Oil (LO) analysis programs and oversee the usage of consumable chemicals, paints, and lubricants.
- Liaise with shipyards, OEMs, vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure efficient execution of technical activities.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, client requirements, Class Rules, Flag State regulations, and applicable maritime legislation.
- Perform any other technical duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines, propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and deck machinery.
- Thorough understanding of offshore vessel operations and maintenance.
- Excellent knowledge of PMS, dry docking, Class requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Good understanding of ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, SOLAS, MARPOL, and DG Shipping requirements.
- Experience in preparing technical budgets and controlling maintenance costs.
- Knowledge of technical procurement, spare parts management, and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to coordinate multiple vessels and prioritize urgent technical requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Pay: Up to ₹175,000.00 per month
