Senior Freight Broker / Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker / Logistics Coordinator with 3–4+ years of hands-on experience in the U.S. freight brokerage and freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drayage, FTL, LTL, intermodal transportation, and freight forwarding, along with excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills.

This position requires an individual who can independently manage freight operations, secure capacity, negotiate competitive rates, build long-term customer relationships, and oversee shipments from pickup through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage freight shipments across the United States.
- Source and negotiate with carriers using DAT Load Board and other freight platforms.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with shippers, carriers, and logistics partners.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide freight quotes, and secure new business.
- Analyze and quote Drayage, Full Truckload (FTL), Less Than Truckload (LTL), Intermodal, and Freight Forwarding shipments.
- Coordinate pickup appointments, deliveries, and shipment tracking.
- Resolve shipment issues and provide proactive customer updates.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers and customers to maximize profitability.
- Ensure accurate documentation, including BOLs, PODs, invoices, and shipment records.
- Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution.

Required Qualifications





- 3–4+ years of experience in U.S. Freight Brokerage or Freight Forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of DAT Load Board (required).
- Thorough understanding of:
- Drayage
- Full Truckload (FTL)
- Less Than Truckload (LTL)
- Intermodal Transportation
- Warehousing & Transloading
- Ocean & Air Freight
- Excellent carrier and customer negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Experience handling high-volume freight operations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Knowledge of U.S. transportation regulations and freight documentation.
- Ability to identify profitable lanes and secure reliable carrier capacity.
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills
- Proven track record of managing client relationships, resolving escalations, and driving team performance in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Additional Required Qualification

- Previous experience as a Team Leader or Operations Lead, managing a team of Freight Brokers, Freight Forwarders, or Logistics Coordinators.
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, monitor performance, and lead a team while ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships, resolving escalations, and driving team performance in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
