Role Description
The Executive Director is a full time, on-site leadership role based in Haridwar, responsible for overseeing overall business strategy, operations, and project delivery in line with the company’s objectives. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams across consulting, engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The Executive
Director will develop and implement growth strategies, manage key client relationships, and explore new business opportunities in hydropower and related sectors. Daily responsibilities include reviewing project performance, guiding senior managers, ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance, and driving continuous improvement in processes and quality standards. The role also includes collaborating with stakeholders, representing the organization in industry forums, and fostering a culture of innovation, integrity, and collaboration.
Qualifications

Strong leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and complex engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strategic planning and business development capabilities, including market analysis, client relationship management, and growth execution.
Technical knowledge of power generation, preferably hydropower, including familiarity with project lifecycle activities such as design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, contract management,



and evaluating project profitability and investment decisions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, partners, regulators, and internal teams.
Proven ability to drive operational excellence, quality assurance, risk management, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced management or leadership training is an advantage.
Significant executive-level experience (preferably in energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing) and a track record of successfully leading organizational growth and transformation.
