Job Purpose:
To manage and promote sustainable business practices
To manage compliance and voluntary reporting
Job Responsibilities:
Non-Financial Reporting:
Manage mandatory and voluntary ESG/sustainability reporting requirements.
Interact with business for reporting inputs.
Collate data/information across departments for reporting.
Liaise with consultants and internal teams for reporting accuracy.
Ensure effective use of IT tools for data backup and tracking historical reporting data.
Business Responsibility:
Conduct analysis on gaps and recommend strategies for continuous improvement on social and environmental parameters.
Driving Sustainability:
Assist in developing ESG policies and implementation plans.
Product Development:
Explore development of products/services with a sustainability focus.
Create new channels for communication and awareness building of sustainability in the business.
Educational Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Sustainability/Environment management
Key Skills:
Solid knowledge of ESG reporting requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact with multi-disciplinary departments.
Demonstrate understanding of various sustainability frameworks.
Experience Required:
2-5 years if education background in sustainability.
>10 years if worked in other areas but is new to ESG.
Major Stakeholders:
Internal Teams (Investor relations, Secretarial, Corpcomm, HR, Infra, Admin, IT, Marketing, Legal, etc)
