JOB DESCRIPTION

Key areas of responsibility:

- To coordinate registration of recent patients and looking after day to day operations of OPD & IPD.
- To ensure that the file, O.P.D Card and U.H.I.D. No. of patient is proper.
- To guide & direct the patient for the further process.
- To ensure that all the OPD & IPD requirements are done before shifting patient to OT.
- To handle the admission and coordinate in the absence of any person of reception.




- To give priority to emergency cases and to co-ordinate with the consultants / respective department for the same.
- To treat all communication about patients, staff, and other organizational business confidentially.
- Looking after Patient transfer and Beds arrangement.
- Resolving patients’ complaints and ensuring patient satisfaction
- Ensuring proper flow of file movement from reception till exit of patient.
- Ensuring the workers on duty are performing task to the satisfaction of hospital administration.
- Supervision of whole floor & make sure least waiting time for patient.
- To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
- To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
- Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement
