About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Media Researcher to monitor, analyze, and summarize news from leading English-language newspapers and business publications. The ideal candidate should have strong research and writing skills with the ability to identify key developments and prepare concise, value-added news summaries.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and scan prominent English-language national and business newspapers on a daily basis.
- Identify important news, trends, and developments relevant to assigned sectors.
- Prepare accurate, concise, and value-added news summaries highlighting key insights.
- Conduct secondary research to provide context and background information on important stories.
- Maintain organized records of news coverage and research reports.
- Ensure timely delivery of daily media updates and research outputs.
- Verify information from credible sources and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand research requirements and deliver customized outputs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism,



Mass Communication, English, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in media monitoring, media research, content analysis, journalism, or editorial roles.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Robust news sense and understanding of current affairs, business, economy, and public policy.
- Excellent summarization, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet research tools.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with media monitoring or media intelligence projects.
- Familiarity with national newspapers, business publications, and digital news platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
