Role description

Role Overview The L2 Infrastructure Engineer will focus on the operational health deployment and automation of our containerized and virtualized environments

Key Responsibilities

Deployment Perform Red Hat OpenShift deployments using Agentbased installers and HCP Hosted Control Planes

OpenShift Virtualization Deploy and manage Virtual Machines VMs directly within OpenShift using KubeVirt perform basic VM migrations and lifecycle management

Automation Execute and modify Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning patching and configuration management of Linux and Windows nodes

Operations Support hybrid environments with knowledge of VMware and HyperV to assist in workload transitions

Troubleshooting Provide Level 2 support for OpenShift cluster health pod connectivity and persistent storage issues

Technical Requirements

OpenShift 2 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift RHOCP and Kubernetes

Virtualization Strong understanding of OpenShift Virtualization functional knowledge of VMware vSphere or Microsoft HyperV

Automation Proficiency in Ansible running playbooks understanding YAML structures

OS Solid administration skills in RHEL Linux and Windows Server

Certifications Required

Red Hat Certified System Administrator RHCSA

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
