Job Summary
The Senior Design Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing multiple design teams to establish and uphold organizational design standards. This position is crucial in driving innovation within the design process, ensuring that design efforts significantly contribute to achieving business objectives. The Senior Design Lead will influence the overall design vision and strategy, ensuring that products not only meet user expectations but also enhance user experiences.
NPD/NPI experience
Experience in Electromechanical product design
Experience in Semiconductor products is valuable to have
Experience in Machined component design, Sheet metal design, and Gas lines
Experience special purpose machines
Extensive Experience in Creo
Experience in Teamcenter or Windchill
Must have good skills in 3D concept development, 2D development drawings
knowledge in GD&T; and Tolerance analysis
Concept design & Analytical calculations
Good Understanding in manufacturing process and welding’s
Good Understanding in Plating’s, Coating and surface finish requirements




BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge
Knowledge in Engineering Change Order Process
Key Responsibilities
1. Leverage Product Design Expertise To Create Intuitive And User-Friendly Software Interfaces And Products, Ensuring Alignment With User Expectations And Contributing To Seamless User Experiences.
2. Lead And Mentor A Team Of Designers, Providing Strategic Guidance To Ensure The Delivery Of High-Quality Design Solutions That Align With Overarching Business Goals.
3. Present And Advocate For Design Concepts, Playing A Critical Role In Shaping The Overall Design Vision And Strategy Across Projects.
4. Stay Abreast Of Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies In Product Design, Utilizing This Knowledge To Drive Innovation And Excellence In Design Practices.
5. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure That Design Solutions Adhere To Best Practices In Design For Manufacture And Assembly (Dfma), Optimizing Product Manufacturability And Cost Efficiency.
6. Implement Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (Gd&T;) Principles In Design Processes To Ensure Precise Communication Of Design Intent And Facilitate Manufacturing Accuracy.
