Industry: Solar EPC / Renewable Energy

About the Role

We are looking for a Solar Design & Project Engineer to join our Renewable Energy team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and executing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects for commercial, industrial, institutional, and government clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Design rooftop, ground-mounted, on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar PV systems.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, BOQs, engineering calculations, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies.
- Support project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure compliance with MNRE, CEA, IEC, and other applicable electrical standards.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and technical problem-solving.

Required Skills

- Solar PV system design and engineering.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, cable sizing, earthing, protection systems, and inverter selection.




- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Excel, and MS Project.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.

Experience

- 2–6 years of experience in Solar EPC, Solar Design, or Project Execution.
- Experience in Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, or Government Solar Projects will be preferred.
