Position Overview

Talent Craft India is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chess Instructor to deliver engaging online chess lessons to students aged 5–18 years. The ideal candidate should have strong chess knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire young learners while creating a fun and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct live online chess classes for individual and small-group sessions.
- Teach chess fundamentals, tactics, strategies, openings, middlegame concepts, and endgame techniques.
- Design and deliver structured lesson plans according to each student's learning level.
- Analyze student games and provide personalized feedback for continuous improvement.
- Assign practice exercises, puzzles, and homework to reinforce concepts.
- Monitor student progress and maintain performance records.
- Encourage students to participate in internal and external chess competitions.
- Maintain an engaging, supportive, and disciplined online classroom environment.
- Coordinate with the Operations Team regarding class schedules, attendance, and student progress.
- Attend instructor meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).




- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or coaching chess.
- Strong understanding of chess principles, tactics, strategy, openings, and endgames.
- Experience teaching children is preferred.
- FIDE rating, coaching certification, or tournament experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar online teaching platforms.
- Reliable laptop or desktop, webcam, headset, and stable high-speed internet connection.

Working Hours

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed during the interview and will be based on experience, qualifications, and the number of classes assigned.
