- Oncopathology Staging: Accurately classify tumors, grade malignancies, and evaluate surgical margins according to standard guidelines (e.g., CAP protocols).

- Specialized Testing Interpretation: Order and interpret Immunohistochemistry (IHC) markers, special stains, and molecular diagnostic tests to confirm complex or borderline diagnoses.

- Cytopathology Reporting: Oversee or perform reporting for Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC), exfoliative cytology, and fluid pap smears when required.

- Frozen Section Analysis: Perform intraoperative consultations (frozen sections) and give rapid,

accurate diagnoses to surgeons during active operating procedures.

- Quality Assurance: Direct the quality control of the histopathology lab, including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining quality. Ensure complete NABL documentation and active participation in EQAS (External Quality Assessment Schemes).
