- Role Summary:
- The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities for Cold Room Projects by sourcing quality materials, developing vendor relationships, negotiating competitive prices, and ensuring timely availability of materials for project execution. The role requires close coordination with Project, Engineering, Stores, and Finance teams to support seamless project delivery.

- Experience Requirements:
- 1–4 years of experience in Purchase or Procurement.
- Mandatory experience in Cold Room, Cold Storage, Refrigeration, HVAC, or Cold Chain Projects.
- Candidates from Cold Room Manufacturers, Refrigeration Companies, HVAC Contractors, Cold Storage Project Companies, or Industrial Refrigeration Industries will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cold room materials, refrigeration equipment, insulation systems, and project procurement is essential.

- Required Qualifications:




- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Diploma or Certification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or Cold Chain Management will be an added advantage.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management:
- Procure materials, equipment, and services required for Cold Room and Cold Storage Projects.
- Review project BOQs, drawings, and material specifications before procurement.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs), obtain approvals, and monitor order execution.
- Ensure timely procurement to meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate replenishment whenever required.
- Technical Material Procurement:
- Procure refrigeration and cold room components, including:
- Verify material specifications and ensure procurement complies with approved technical requirements.
- Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for Cold Room and Refrigeration materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare comparative statements.
- Build long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, quantity,



and delivery.
- Cost Control & Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement is completed within approved budgets without compromising quality.
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Stores, and Operations teams regarding material requirements.
- Track purchase orders until delivery and ensure materials reach the project site on time.
- Follow up with vendors to avoid project delays caused by material shortages.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain purchase orders, quotations, vendor records, invoices, and procurement documentation.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and approval processes.
- Update procurement records in ERP or inventory management systems.
- Support internal audits by maintaining complete procurement documentation.

- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Cold Room Projects and Refrigeration Systems.
- Hands-on experience in procuring cold room materials and refrigeration components.
- Understanding of project BOQs, technical drawings, and material specifications.
- Excellent vendor development and supplier management skills.
- Strong negotiation and cost analysis abilities.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
