About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Career Counselor to assist prospective students and clients in selecting the right training programs and career paths. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counseling, and relationship-building skills to guide candidates through the enrollment process and ensure a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and clients regarding training programs, internships, and career opportunities.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and walk-ins in a qualified manner.
- Explain course details, career benefits, eligibility criteria, and fee structures.
- Follow up with leads and support them throughout the admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and enrollments using CRM or internal systems.
- Coordinate with the training and admissions teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Meet monthly counseling and enrollment targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and training programs to provide accurate guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in counseling, admissions, customer service, or sales is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the education, IT training, or EdTech sector.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Positive attitude with a student-first approach.
