Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to design, implement, and support inhouse maintenance operations for a manufacturing plant. The role focuses on managing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to ensure high plant availability, improved asset reliability, and optimized maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP PM processes for inhouse manufacturing plant maintenance.
Design and manage Equipment and Functional Location structures aligned with plant hierarchy.
Implement and support:
• Preventive Maintenance (Time-based, Performance-based)
• Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance
• Condition-based maintenance (where applicable)
Configure and manage:
• Maintenance Notifications
• Maintenance Orders
• Order Settlement and Cost Tracking
Develop and manage Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, and Measurement Documents.
Integrate SAP PM with:
• MM for spare parts, reservations, and procurement
• FI/CO for maintenance cost tracking and settlements
• PP for production downtime coordination
Support spare parts and inventory management for maintenance activities.
Handle root-cause analysis, equipment history tracking, and maintenance KPIs.
Lead business requirement workshops and prepare functional design documents.




Support data migration for equipment, functional locations, task lists, and maintenance history.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and go-live activities.
Provide production support and continuous process improvement recommendations.
Work closely with maintenance engineers, planners, and plant users.

Skill Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
• Robust hands-on experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Deep understanding of manufacturing plant maintenance processes.
• Proven expertise in:
• Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
• Equipment & Functional Location Management
• Maintenance Orders & Notifications
• Experience integrating PM with MM, FI/CO, and PP.
• Experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA PM environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills.

• SAP PM certification.
• Experience in manufacturing industries such as Automotive, FMCG, Chemicals, Metals, or Pharma.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial) or a related field.
