We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Fitter who can support manufacturing activities by performing precision fabrication, fitting, and assembly work for industrial automation machinery.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform fabrication and fitting activities for machine structures, frames, brackets, panels, and assemblies.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, and basic engineering specifications.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and alignment of fabricated components.
- Carry out assembly and sub-assembly fitting of automation machine parts.
- Ensure accurate dimensions and proper finishing as per drawing requirements.
- Perform MIG welding support activities and coordinate with welders for fabrication work.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, measuring tape, square, and gauges.
- Conduct trial fitting, correction, and modification of fabricated parts.
- Maintain quality standards, workplace safety, and 5S practices.




- Support production team during machine assembly and final integration activities.
- Follow work instructions and achieve daily production targets.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Hands-on experience in fabrication fitting and machine assembly.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes including cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting.
- Basic knowledge of welding processes (MIG/TIG welding exposure preferred).
- Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and alignment.
- Experience working with MS, SS, and fabricated machine structures.
- Ability to use measuring tools effectively.
- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Qualification

- ITI (Fitter / Fabrication / Welder) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Relevant experience in industrial fabrication, machinery manufacturing, or automation industry.

Experience

- 2 to 5 years of experience in fabrication fitting, machine building, or industrial equipment manufacturing preferred.
