Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM Nursing
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled NICU Staff Nurse with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate should be capable of providing specialized nursing care to premature, critically ill, and newborn babies while working closely with neonatologists and the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns.
- Monitor and record neonatal vital signs, oxygen saturation, and overall condition.
- Assist neonatologists during medical procedures and emergency interventions.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and feeds as prescribed.
- Operate and monitor NICU equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, incubators, infusion pumps, and phototherapy units.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.




- Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are strictly followed.
- Educate and counsel parents regarding newborn care and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to neonatal emergencies.
- Coordinate with doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.

Required Skills

- Sound knowledge of neonatal nursing care.
- Experience handling NICU equipment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to perform under pressure.

Eligibility

- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM Nursing.
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience is mandatory.
