Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Detailer (Fresher) to join our detailing team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a passion for structural steel design and a foundational understanding of detailing software. As a Trainee Detailer, you will support the creation of accurate 2D drawings and 3D models of structural steel components using SDS/2, contributing to both fabrication and erection processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing 3D models and 2D shop/erection drawings using SDS/2.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings to extract relevant detailing data.
- Model basic structural components such as beams, columns, connections, base plates, and bracings under supervision using SDS/2.
- Ensure accuracy in dimensions, welds, bolts, material specifications, and connections.
- Generate material take-offs, bolt lists, and CNC files as required using SDS/2.
- Follow internal CAD standards to maintain consistency and quality in drawings.
- Coordinate with senior detailers and checkers for revisions and reviews.
- Maintain organized project documentation,



including drawing logs and version control.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance software and industry knowledge in SDS/2.
- Adhere to company quality control procedures and drafting guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of structural steel components and fabrication terminology.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and familiarity with SDS/2 is preferred.

Shift Timings

- Monday to Friday
- Rotational shifts between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM

Salary Package

- ₹15,000 per month (in-hand) for the first six months as a probationary period.
- Upon successful completion of the probation period, the salary will be revised based on the candidate’s performance.

Interview Process

- Two rounds of in-person interviews
- A written assessment based on the candidate’s educational background and practical knowledge

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
